SEC.01 / Overview

Long-Term Partnerships with the Communities of Busia

Social Responsibility, Clean Water Infrastructure, and Economic Empowerment

At Burlcore Mining, corporate responsibility is an operational feature, not an afterthought. We implement multi-pillar community programmes designed to build durable regional resilience that outlasts individual mining cycles.

From resolving local water crises by delivering clean water infrastructure to Mawero, to funding education and health initiatives, we work hand-in-hand with local leadership. We believe sustainable mining requires investing directly in the safety, well-being, and dignity of our host district.

Every programme is co-designed with district authorities and traditional leadership so that decisions about local development remain in local hands. Our role is to fund, deliver and maintain - not to dictate.
